My portrait style

I have a relaxed approach to family portrait photography.  Natural photos of children (and grown ups) are best taken when they are engaged in their favourite activities and absorbed in their surroundings. 

As such, I will guide the shoot to include lots of locations, whilst maintaining a sense of fun.  This is the opposite of a studio shoot.  This is more of a let's go where the mood takes us and explore!

As a mother I know that family life is hectic and children grow fast.  Creating the time for a shoot will be rewarded with photographs that will capture those poignant moments and provide memories to last for years.

On a professional level, I spent many years working in the photographic industry for leading companies such as Kodak, before establishing my own portrait photography business.  I am also a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
